Our practice staff are dementia friendly trained and we have undertaken a lot of work to make the surgery more dementia friendly. This has included; providing extra seating, providing hand rails along corridors, clearer signs and displaying old photographs within the surgery. A member of our patient participation group is a dementia champion and is able to provide dementia friendly training to small groups or organisations.
